Mission:

We have a vision of world culture. Continents where everyone can live, work, dream and express their thoughts freely, in diversity and harmony. Where we share a sense of belonging based on solidarity, mutual respect between people and cooperation across borders of all kinds. We believe in the power of culture to change the world.

Culture helps us to agree on how to live together, build and understand our multiple identities and do. It provides an opportunity to question and redefine the principles we advocate and helps to develop and maintain feelings of mutual understanding and solidarity. Feeling doesn't come from pie charts and growth rates. It comes from sharing stories and experiences. Culture binds and unites us and invites us to imagine a different future.

Evgeniy Aleksandrovich Ginzburg

Soviet and Russian television and film director, screenwriter. He specialized in musical theater and film performances (musicals, variety shows, revues).

Our values:

1.We strongly believe in a core set of values that guide us in our daily work. Our goal is to embed them in everything we do and live them in our interactions with colleagues, partners, grantees and all other stakeholders.

2.Collaboration, exchange and solidarity are critical to the unification of a Peace that works for all its citizens.

3.Diversity is a given and something we celebrate. We try to incorporate this into everything we do: language, operations, programs and presentation.

4.Advocating for democracy and the rule of law are essential to the future we see. They need constant work and imagination.

5.We recognize human dignity and ingenuity as separate values that deserve respect.

6.We ensure that individuals or groups of people are not treated differently or less favorably in order to ensure equality.

7.We fight for freedom of expression, conscience, movement, the media, and challenge authorities around the world.

Our view:

1. Our societies face challenges that affect all of us and future generations: climate crises, growing inequality, polarization, digitalization. We believe these challenges require bold and creative responses.

2. We preserve the world's cultural heritage. From the Pergamon Altar to Easter Island.

3. We do this by providing grants, building communities, offering incubator programs and online platforms, giving out awards, organizing events and challenges, publishing books and building alliances, all supported by advocacy and communication.

4. Each program, grant or collaboration is a building block added to the foundation of our common global future. Step by step, day by day, collaboration through collaboration.
